Look inward as well as outward
It is easy to recognise behaviour in somebody else while overlooking the ways we may contribute to a difficult pattern ourselves. Accountability asks us to examine both.
Reactions and responsibility
Another person's reaction does not automatically erase our own behaviour, just as our reaction does not automatically make us responsible for everything that came before it. Healthy reflection leaves room for context and personal responsibility.
Words carry weight
What we repeatedly say about others can sometimes reveal what still needs attention within ourselves. Before reacting publicly or privately, ask whether your words are moving the situation toward clarity or simply keeping conflict alive.
Reflection
What part of this situation is genuinely yours to own, learn from or change?
